Organizational Behavior and People Management Professor at FEP and at Porto Business School. Principal Investigator of the Organizations & Management group at cef.up – Center for Economics and Finance at UPorto.

Consultant in the area of ​​Organizational Development.

He was a Member of the Board of Directors of the North Regional Delegation of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists (DRN-OPP) between 2012 and 2016 and was a member of the Executive Board of ASM – Alliance for the promotion of mental health in the workplace.

Member of the Sloan Research Network on Aging & Work@Boston College, of the European Association for Work and Organizational Psychology, and Academic Visitor at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing – University of Oxford. Management Committee Member to Portugal in the COST Action CA22120 - A European Network to Leverage the Multi-Age Workforce (LeverAge).

Research interests focused on age management in the workplace and humor in organizations. Author of articles in international journals such as the Journal of Managerial Psychology, Career Development International, Journal of Marketing Management, Human Performance, Work, Aging and Retirement and European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, among others. Co-author of the book "Gestão por Objetivos: Guias para reflexão e ação".
