Currently is ICT Information Manager and responsible for the IT Services at FEP. At the same Faculty, he is a member of the Pedagogical Innovation Committee, the Risk Management team and is Subdelegate of Security.

Is a member of the Order of Engineers (ID 50236) and of Risk Management Committee of the European Campus Card Association (ECCA).

He represented U.Porto at ECCA from 2009 and was a member of the board between 2011 and 2024. He was President of this association between 2015 and 2019.

He has been working at the U.Porto since 2003; having started is activity as a researcher at Faculty of Engineering and between 2006 and 2015, as a senior technician at the U.Porto Central Services (Institute of Resources and Common Initiatives of the University of Porto, Rectory, Shared Services of the University of Porto and UPdigital).

At FCUP, he obtained a degree in Geomatic Engineering and the Master's degree in Remote Sensing.
