The 1st cycle degree in Communication Sciences, based on a protocol signed among the Faculties of Arts, Engineering, Fine Arts and Economy, seeks to combine an education in Humanities (Social Sciences) with the new IT, aesthetic and graphic dimensions.
After attending a four-semester common core, students will opt, in the fifth semester, for one of the following areas:
Journalism | Multimedia | Strategic Communication
The degree has a strong practical component in broadcasting (TV and radio) studios, a multimedia laboratory and a computerized newsroom. Students will participate in project development and, whenever possible, in productions for the University or for the outside.
The course intends to give students a vast range of career possibilities, from the various journalism forms (broadcast, newspaper, online) to press and image offices and production of educational software or all kinds of multimedia material.
