The Administration Support Unit (Unidade de Apoio à Direção - UAD) is a technical, direct support unit to the Dean and the Executive Council, responsible for producing information and conducting research that supports decision making, ensuring technical support in the realm of strategic and operational planning, supporting the School's interinstitutional and international cooperation policies, promoting the School's image and ensuring internal and external communication and, in general, promoting the efficacy and efficiency of the School's other services.

It acts in the domains of Strategic Planning and Development, Human Resources, Management Control, Quality Management and Continuous Improvement, Cooperation and Internationalization and Communications and Image. It also encompasses the functions of the Secretariat and Registrar.
