The conceptual approach adopted in the course of Industrial Organization comes essentially from the neoclassical economic paradigm, in which formal modelling of the economic structure and determination of the associated economic incentives are stressed. Students will be able to understand and assess the working and the performance of real markets according to the normative and positive theories of the dominant economic paradigm.
Students will be able to analyze and evaluate the performance of markets and business strategies. Furthermore, they may, through the discussion of case studies to know, best, business activity and the competitive level of real markets.

There is no attendance control in the class.
The result of the evaluation by tests will be equal to the weighted average of the results of the two tests. First test values 25% and second test 75% of the final grade. When the students opts by final exam the mark will be that of the final exam.
One of the classes will be taught in English.
