Objectives

In this course we discuss some of the main financial decisions of a corporate manager. The course aims to enable to know the main problems facing the financial management and acquire skills, including the following areas: asset valuation, investment decision making funding decisions and measuring and managing the cost of capital.

The students should be able to solve the main problems of corporate finance.

Calculation formula of final grade

Final Score = 0.70 * Score of the final exam +0.30 * Score of written work.

Examinations or Special Assignments

Paper: Ask the elaboration of a small literature review paper. This paper should follow the formal rules of writing academic papers, with page limit. The work may have to be presented and defended.

Observations

In the exame, students must be accompanied calculators, forms, and tables statistics commonly used in the discipline. It is not allowed to use other elements.
