Generation Blockchain in final phase with online course on Blockchain and cryptocurrencies

The international project Generation Blockchain, in which FEP is represented by Professors Aurora Teixeira and Fábio Duarte, has entered the final phase of execution.

Within the scope of this project - which aims to contribute to the improvement of the learning and teaching experience, through the development of digital skills of Economics and Management teachers - a pilot test is being carried out with students and stakeholders from several countries. The aim is to evaluate the contents of the free online course "Generation Blockchain", as well as the ease of access and use of resources, their relevance, and impact on knowledge.

Your participation involves two steps:

1. Review the online course.
2. Responding to a brief online course assessment survey (3 minutes) based on your experience in the first step).

1. How do I access the online course? Click here.
2. What should I analyze? Each student can choose which modules they want to analyze (free selection). However, it is advised that each student analyze the first module (introduction to Blockchain & Cryptos) and at least one more module.
3. What level of analysis is required? Detailed analysis of the content of each module is not required. A thorough analysis of all the information would take approximately 5 hours per selected module. However, it is encouraged that each student dedicates at least one hour to analyzing each selected module.
4. What dimensions of analysis should I pay particular attention to? After analyzing all the selected modules, each student will need to respond to a 3-minute survey to provide their feedback (anonymous). Before starting the analysis of the online course, please take a look at the survey questions to guide your analysis (Click here)
5. How do I access the survey? Click here. Please note that the survey is anonymous and will take no more than 3 minutes to complete.
6. Will I receive a participation certificate at the end? Yes. If you are a student from FEP, you will receive a Pro-Skills FEP certificate. However, to receive the certificate, you must register on the Online Course page (click here) and log in whenever browsing the page and analyzing the modules. Please use your student email (FEP email) so that we can identify you for certification purposes. Without registration and login, we won't be able to certify your participation.
7. Can I invite others to participate in the online course assessment? Yes, you can. Both FEP students and other stakeholders in the field are welcome to participate. Your participation is crucial, and it will have even more value if you can disseminate this pilot test to a broader audience, inviting them to participate in the evaluation of the online course and respond to the survey.
8. What happens if I don't respond to the survey? If you do not respond to the survey, your participation will not contribute to the metrics of this project, even if you have analyzed the contents of the online course. So, your response is critical.
