Entrepreneurship competences are considered as one of the most important competences for further generations. Throughout this week the participants will get familiar with the real entrepreneurship competences (that are much more than simply launching business) according to the EU-s EntreComp Framework while fostering creativity, vision, motivation, and several other soft-skills. We will do this in an interactive gamified fashion, implementing a new online serious game (called Entrepoly) and applying several other interactive techniques and games. All in all, this will be an entertaining international experience!

If you have any questions, you may contact Andrea Labancz (labancz.andrea@szte.hu).

ACTIVITY: Winter School: Communicating Research for Doctoral Candidates

WHEN: 6-10 Dec 2021
HOW: Totally online, free and in English
WHO CAN ATTEND: PhD students
VACANCIES: 2 places for U.Porto
MORE INFO AND APPLICATION: HERE
APPLICATION DEADLINE: 28th of Nov, 22h59 (Portuguese time)

Public speaking is a necessity in scientific life – and you can learn what the success factors of a good scientific presentation are. Very rarely it is the quality of the research results that causes problems. More often structure, orientation and personal performance can and should be improved to ensure that you come across as a creative and credible scientist.

This online workshop supports you in finding out what your strengths are and in developing your individual presentation profile. You will learn how to lead the audience from your first appearance on stage until the last question in the discussion.

If you have any questions, you may contact graduatecenter@lmu.de.

WHO CAN ATTEND: Multilingual (at least bilingual) students from the areas mathematics, natural science, technology, informatics, computer science, engineering, business administration, economics, marketing that are looking for job opportunities after their studies
MORE INFO AND APPLICATION: HERE
APPLICATION DEADLINE: 7th Dec at 11h00 (Portuguese time)

Our EUGLOH Business Talks are especially designed for EUGLOH students to get in touch with the networks partner companies. The events usually consist of a short input from the company followed by a short interview led by a EUGLOH student. In the end all participating students have the chance to ask all the questions they may have. This a unique opportunity to get to know a company in an informal setting.
The company will receive the participants’ CVs before the event in order to evaluate the possibility of career opportunities for them. Chances are good to find your first job or (international) internship.
