What do you do in your daily life to preserve the environment?

World Environment Day

On June 5, World Environment Day is celebrated. To mark this, FEP will promote a campaign to share individual practices that promote a positive environmental impact. Thus, the entire academic community of FEP (students, teachers, staff, and former students) is invited to participate, disseminating some of its individual practices by sending illustrative photos.

This initiative aims to:

• Reflect on the role of the individuals to environmental preservation;
• Make known good practices to the community, inspiring colleagues to replicate them;
• Mark the Environment Day, reinforcing ecological awareness.

Any individual practice - from recycling, reducing energy consumption, reusing water, or, among others, using public transport - can be shared.

You can send your photos with some examples and actions that lead to environmental preservation until the 1st of June to the email: jtsousa@fep.up.pt. In the text of the email, you can indicate your name (optional) and a brief description of the practice you share.

The photos will be released through FEP's social networks on Environment Day.
