Abstract (EN): The present course is design to provide knowledge primarily for the managers and teachers of institutions applying open and distance education, which knowledge makes acquirement of the most important means of quality assurance and their effective application in practice possible. We intend to develop a quality assurance distance training system, which can be an effective means of quality management in the area of open and distance training. The present course is expected to contribute to the development of the quality of open and distance training, thus to the dissemination of modern training forms, and to the promotion of the European dimension in education. A project supported by the SOCRATES ODL European partnership projects. (56591-CP-2-1999-1-HU-ODL-ODL) and Part of module M3 of Facile Project Quality in Open and Distance Learning The course includes short, roughly outlined, orientative parts concerning distance education, to which parts on quality assurance are connected.
