In general: relogious freedom in national and foreign caselaw: critical analisys of legal cases.
Specific issues: religious freedom of detainees, religious classes in public schools, jurisdiction conerning Misericordias, religious freedom of teachers, right to religious holidays, prohibition on wearing islamic hedscarf in public services.

C) Seminar “The fundamental rights today: between different objects and new subjects"

Summary: This seminar addresses current questions and issues regarding the subjective and objective scope of protection of fundamental rights provisions, in the light of new legally relevant subjectivities and different situations of risk.

Eligibility for exams
According to article 4º of the Evaluation Regulation, attendance of at least 75% of the classes is mandatory.
Calculation formula of final grade
Paper presentation - 100 % (50 % on the oral presentaition and discussion and 50% on the final written text).
