Objectives

- Provide an overview of current doctrine on evidence, procedural acts and appeals;
- Deepen the theoretical and dogmatic bases of the studied institutes, as well as their projections in terms of legal regulation and jurisprudential solutions;
- Promote autonomous and critical reflection on central problems of criminal procedure.

Learning outcomes and competences

Students should be able to:
- have a grounded knowledge of current doctrine on evidence, procedural acts and appeals;
- Critically discuss legal and jurisprudential solutions to the central problems of criminal procedure.

INTRODUCTION TITLE I EVIDENCE CHAPTER I - Introduction. Approach to the problem of Evidence. General principles of the Evidence in Criminal Procedure. CHAPTER II - Legal discipline of the probatory procedure. CHAPTER III - Evidences and means of obtaining evidence. Analysis of the positive law. TITLE II PROCEDURAL ACTS CHAPTER I - The procedural acts. The form of the acts. The communication of the acts. CHAPTER II - The negative qualities of the procedural acts. The problem of the inexistence of the acts. The procedural nullities. The procedural irregularities. TITLE III APPEALS
