Learning outcomes and competences
Reflecting the increased importance of a basic understanding of Constitutional, European and International Law and Fundamental Rights to legal education and practice, the benefits of this Master’s Course program is most obvious for students intending to specialize in these areas, but even individuals who anticipate a career anchored in their own nation’s legal system, but also in the field of European and International Law systems.

Program
1. Help students to conceptualize,research, and produce a significant piece of writing papers.
2. Introduce students to basic legal research skills (both at European and International levels) and legal writing techniques.
3. Help structure and set deadlines for researching and writing papers.
4. Provide guidance and other non-technical support for Master’s writing projects.
5. Facilitate advising relationships between students and helps them with library research staff.

Eligibility for exams
In accordance with the evaluation regulations por units in "valiação distribuída sem exame final". According to article 4º of the Evaluation Regulation, attendance of at least 75% of the classes is mandatory.
Calculation formula of final grade
The evaluation focuses the written paper - 100 % (50 % on the presentaition and discussion and 50% on the final written text) - produced by the students that may consist in the thesis project.
