Objectives

Aims: - To familiarise students with various themes within the discipline of criminology, paying specific attention to ongoing scientific investigation, its results and the challenges for future research; - To provide guidance and orientation towards the development of Masters-level dissertations. Skills: - To develop appropriate research capabilities and competencies; - To facilitate the consolidation of  research, testing the application of appropriate research methods, identifying relevant literature from scientific resources as well as learning the implementation of a research plan.

Learning Outcomes: - To cultivate awareness regarding specific areas of academic knowledge as well as training and development in the necessary skills for scientific research.
