PART II – ELEMENTS OF PORTUGUESE LAW HISTORY

Chapter 1 – Ages of evolution of Portuguese Law History

Chapter 2 – The age of differentiation of Portuguese Law

Chapter 3 – The age of Roman and Canonical inspiration

Chapter 4 – The age of the framing of modern Portuguese Law

Teaching methods and learning activities

Evaluation:
Continuous evaluation is offered, after a division between the lessons: mainly theoretical and mainly practical lessons. Final evaluation is compulsory. See the “Regulamento de Avaliação de Conhecimentos”, at the Faculty’s site, on line. Before the final examinations, a detailed program will be available. Following numbers 6 and 9 of article 4 of the “Regulamento”, the courses of Law History I and Law History II have been unified (Resolution of the “Conselho Científico”, July, 2008).
