Objectives
The aim of this discipline is to provide the students with the basic frameworks of the legal system.
It is meant to see Law as a body in motion and not an estatic one, so it is given major relevance to the methodological issues.

1. Introduction: Law in the context of different normative orders
2. The concept and the nature of law. Purposes of the law.
3. Objective law and subjective rights. Branches of law and its division.
4. The rule of law and legal principles
5. Sources of law and observance of standards
6. Current systems of law
7. Legislative techniques and coding
8. The legal method: interpretation, integration and implementation
9. The succession of laws in time
10. The protection of the law and rights
