Abstract (EN): The results of studies concerning the geologic, geomorphologic, tectonic and hydrogeologic features of Caldas do Moledo (Peso da ¿egua, Northern Portugal) hydromineral system are presented. The geological and structural study included the survey of structural discontinuities and tectonic lineaments. A major granitic outcrop was identified and mapped (Cidadelhe granite). An hydrogeologic inventory was performed. The study of the hydrodinamic features of the discharge zone was carried out based on the results of several well flow tests. The hydrogeochemical characterisation included the major ion and the 18O, 2H, 3H and 14C contents. An hydrogeologic conceptual model concerning, mainly, the hydromineral circulation is proposed.
