Abstract (EN):
During the last few years, the interest in Y chromosome polymorphisms has continuously increased, not only because of the application of Y chromosome variation in human and evolutionary genetics, but also because of its use in forensics. In this study we have analysed the Y-chromosome variability in four Iberian and North African populations using biallelic markers to distinguish 7 haplogroups, and then, we examined their diversity using Y-STR loci and the minisatellite MSY1.
