Abstract (EN):
Cu2+ induced an efflux of potassium, inorganic phosphate, 260 nm-absorbing materials and ribose-containing molecules in Pseudomonas syringae. No detectable amounts of aspartic and glutamic acids leaked from the cells. It is proposed that the release of inorganic phosphate and other low molecular mass anionic metabolites probably played a role in re-equilibrating the internal charge balance after the exit of K+ ions. © 1990.
