Abstract (EN): This paper describes two complementary dynamic tests performed on the Vasco da Gama Bridge at the final stage of construction, in order to accurately identify the most significant modal parameters from the aerodynamic and seismic behaviour point of view. The main results obtained from these ambient and free vibration tests are presented and correlated with the corresponding parameters provided by the numerical model developed at the design stage.
