Abstract (EN): The paper presents the development of complete, rigorous and integrated models including all units of the atmospheric and vacuum distillation lube oil plant, from the Petrogal Porto Refinery. The models created, with the PROII process simulator, allow the increase of the plant knowledge, the detection of the plant bottlenecks, the evaluation of the economic impact of the alteration of operation variables, as well as, the accomplishment of studies for process optimisation.
