Abstract (EN): Spatial distribution of Pseudodactylogyrus anguillae and P. bini on the gill apparatus of the European eel Anguilla anguilla from river Sousa, north Portugal, is reported. Both species could be found almost in every site of gill apparatus but some preferential sites were observed. Monthly samples were taken between November 1994 and September 1995. Both species could be found all over the year but higher abundances were observed in September.
