Abstract (EN):
This paper is centred on the problem of the propagation of train induced vibrations in the vicinity of high speed railways. General aspects of modelling based on the finite element method are discussed, as well as particular aspects regarding modelling of the radiation conditions at the boundaries. A simplified numerical analysis methodology is described and applied to the study of vibrations in the surface of the ground and in buildings with reinforced concrete frame structure, located near a railway for the passage of the TGV train at different speeds. The results of a parametric study developed with the aim of studying the influence of some parameters as the circulation speed, the distance to the track, the soil properties and location of the bedrock are also presented. © 2007 Civil-Comp Press.
