Abstract (EN): Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is widely used in the production of dies. The paper describes an investigation into the manufacturing of EDM electrodes which are obtained using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and electroplating which led to a decrease of the time production. This work has led to the usage of two production techniques: the indirect and direct approaches. The EDM performance evaluation of the tools was carried out using Taguchi method. The evaluation of the collected data shows a significant improvement on TWR.
