Resumo (PT): Tendo como pano de fundo a problemática em torno da viagem, imbuída de um significado religioso e espiritual, este artigo procura chamar a atenção para alguns casos que podem ser respigados em várias obras que se inscrevem no filão da literatura de espiritualidade, sobretudo de pendor hagiográfico, editada em Portugal, no período compreendido entre os séculos XVI e XVIII.

Abstract (EN): Against the background of the problematic surrounding travel, imbued with a religious and spiritual significance, this article seeks to draw attention to some cases that can be founs in various works that fall under the field of literature of spirituality, especially with hagiographic inclination, published in Portugal, between the XVIth and XVIIIth centuries
