Resumo (PT): This paper presents a special purpose finite element program developed on microcomputers for the analysis and design of adhesives joints. The Program "Joint Design" has been completely developed, planned and adapted for the design of adhesives joints with the following major features: i) the use of mixed interface finite elements, ii) significant decrease of computational time, iii) interactive user friendly package.
