Abstract (EN): CheckFoV is a powerful Java-based tool designed for comprehensive visual sensing analysis in different scenarios. It leverages a uniform 2D top-view modelling of cameras and targets, as well as analytic geometry equations, to compute the Field of View (FoV) of each camera, eventual FoV overlapping, and resulting targets coverage. With flexible configuration options, this tool supports customised cameras and targets setups or even random configurations, allowing flexibility when providing a visual perspective for different settings. For that, CheckFoV presents results graphically and numerically, making it a valuable asset for visual coverage planning in diverse research areas such as industry 4.0, smart cities, and environmental monitoring.
