Abstract (EN): Electrosynthesis of polypyrrole (PPy) was carried out on galvanized steel in tartrate aqueous solution. During the polarization process, the tartrate counter-ion inhibits the electrode dissolution and the polymerization reaction takes place. The PPy coatings successfully obtained under different electrolysis techniques are very homogeneous and strongly adherent to the working electrode surfaces. SEM, XPS, IR and Raman show that the obtained coating has the same structure and properties as those electrodeposited on noble metals.
