Abstract (EN):
In this paper we describe the latest developments in the underwater vehicles built and
operated by the Systems and Underwater Technology Lab (LSTS) at the University of Porto.
We point out the technological expertise achieved during the last few years through the
design, implementation and operation of underwater robotic systems and we address the
main challenges for the near future in the shape of new paradigms for systems integration
and operation.
