Abstract (EN):
The present paper is centred on the problem of the propagation of train induced vibrations in the vicinity of high speed railways. General aspects regarding modelling based on the finite element method are introduced, as well as particular aspects regarding modelling of the radiation conditions at the boundaries. An application has been made to the study of vibrations in buildings with reinforced concrete frame structure, located near a railway for the passage of the TGV train at the speeds of 200, 250, 300 and 350 km/h. The analyses were carried out based on a simplified methodology, which makes use of a longitudinal 2D model of the track in order to obtain the vertical displacements at a given section, which will later be imposed in a cross-section 2D model, perpendicular to the track. The results are presented in terms of the vibration speed for points in the ground at different distances to the track and for points in the buildings located at different heights.
