Abstract (EN):
The present paper is focused on the study of the dynamic effects induced by abrupt changes in track stiffness. The study has been carried out by means of a dynamic analysis tool which enabled to model the train and the track, taking also into account its interaction. The simulations were carried out for the passage of the ICE2 train, circulating at speeds of 200, 250, 300 and 350 km/h. The results have been assessed in terms of the dynamic amplifications of the wheel-rail interaction force, the stability of the wheel-rail contact and the passengers comfort.
