Abstract (EN): Today connectivity between IP networks can be automatically configured, but the control layers are often not compatible. In the IST Project Ambient Networks, a novel concept for internetworking in the control plane and control sharing, called Composition, is being developed. This paper describes the composition mechanism and illustrates it by means of scenarios, devoting particular attention to migration issues.
