Abstract (EN):
Besides the known environmental benefits that
Electric Vehicles (EVs) offer, there are new
opportunities available in electrical propulsion that
could be exploited by advanced control systems to
improve the vehicle safety, comfort, performance
and handling. In this work a new platform, based on
FPGAs, is presented for implementation of
Advanced Control System in Multi-Motor EV. The
control system is performed on a FPGA, exploiting
the parallel processing capabilities and merging, in
a single and compact chip, motor, traction and
motion control systems.
