Abstract (EN):
Dahlstedt and Jensen have shown the data collapse of the Danube and Mississippi deseasonalised riverflow data to the BHP distribution, that also appears in other models at criticality.
We study the data collapse of the Iberian river Durius deseasonalised riverflow data. Deviations from the universal BHP distribution to a Gaussian distribution are found, specially, for
Fall and Winter runoff fluctuations close to, or smaller than, the daily average runoff. For higher fluctuations, the histogram tend to follow the universal BHP distribution. We propose that, in this case, these deviations from the universal BHP distribution are due to dam regulations effects.
