Resumo (PT): Previous cross-sectional studied have demonstrated that lens f1uorescence increased with age, duration of diabetes and long-term levels of glycemia in insulin-dependent patients. However there are no studies that correlate the short-term variations of metabolic control with lens fluorescence. In the present study we analyze the variation of lens autofluoresecoce in type I and type 2 diabetic patients during a period of 6 months.
Abstract (EN): Previous cross-sectional studied have demonstrated that lens f1uorescence increased with age, duration of diabetes and long-term levels of glycemia in insulin-dependent patients. However there are no studies that correlate the short-term variations of metabolic control with lens fluorescence. In the present study we analyze the variation of lens autofluoresecoce in type I and type 2 diabetic patients during a period of 6 months.
