Resumo (PT): The need to use stress/strain equilibrium curves, instead of normal stress/strain curves, for design purposes is explained here. A brief description of the test equipment designed for the laboratory test is made, and the calibration procedures are described A set of results for two structural adhesives will be presented, considering different ambient conditions (i.e Relative humidity and temperature).
