Abstract (EN): The regulation of fire safety in buildings is applied in two explicit moments: in designs of buildings and enclosures, so before construction and, after construction when the buildings and enclosures are in service. This text will focus on the second period. There is an urgent need for the implementation of measures to raise awareness of self-protection to all buildings as required by regulation. So is necessary to identify those responsible for its implementation and then take steps to be do for skilled technicians. The main objective of this paper is provide and present a tool which facilitate the implementation of part of self-protection measures. The application of the model to several buildings inspections, which was made in this development phase of FIREcheck, already has leveraged some important conclusions. The tool called FIREcheck that not only innovates entire inspection process, constituting a guide to follow and helping professionals who are on top of their duties, but also makes the process fast, intuitive and effective inspection. But above all will standardize the criteria for evaluating an inspection.
