Resumo (PT):
Abstract (EN): In this interview, Professor Kamal Hamidou, Head of the Qatar University Mass Communication Department, examines domestic and international media operating in Arab countries, most notably Qatar, from a geopolitical perspective, that is, with implications in the field of international relations, and in light of Islam. On the one hand, conflicts triggered by the publication of caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed, in France, and, on the other hand, the media as factors of Peace among Civilizations are also topics addressed in this work.
