Abstract (EN): This study investigates the impact of Technology Balance of Payments (TBP) on countries¿ international competitiveness. Using dynamic panel data estimations for 26 OECD countries over the period 2000¿2017, the estimations unambiguously show that a TBP surpluses significantly foster countries¿ international competitiveness, regardless of how this latter is measured. © 2019, © 2019 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.
