Abstract (EN): The lack of durability assessment procedures directly applicable to thermal mortars motivated the development of durability assessment procedures. The combination of the analysis of existing procedures with hygrothermal simulation allowed the development of accelerated ageing hygrothermal cycles, applied to thermal rendering systems, taking into account the European climatic context, throughout a theoretical algorithm. The results contribute to the development of durability assessment methodologies directly applicable to thermal mortars.
