Abstract (EN): Different models for the coupled heat, air and moisture (HAM) transport have been developed and incorporated into various software programs used in the field of porous building materials. However, most of the hygrothermal models available to the public in general are not able to simulate accurately the hygrothermal behaviour of ETICS, namely the undercooling phenomenon, responsible for external surface condensation, and the effect of rain incident on the façade. © 2016, The Author(s).
