Resumo (PT): O desenvolvimento de novos produtos conta em grande medida com a possibilidade de inovar para oferecer crescimento e sustentabilidade aos negócios empresariais. O Front End da Inovação, que representa a fase inicial do processo de inovação, é decisivo para auxiliar na definição de sucesso na comercialização de novos conceitos, sendo até mesmo capaz de influenciar o desenvolvimento de modelos de negócios. A Front End of Innovation Integrative Ontology (FEI2O) é uma representação abrangente e integradora do começo do processo de inovação, foi desenvolvida considerando o paradigma do Design Science e com suporte da 101 Metodologia de Desenvolvimento de Ontologia. A proposta de um desenvolvimento ágil de novo conceito combinado com o alinhamento do Propósito Estratégico do FEI com processos organizacionais é retratada por duas sub-ontologias. Estas sub-ontologias são exploradas neste trabalho por meio da instanciação de um caso de estudo de Lean Startup.

Abstract (EN): The development of new products represents an opportunity for firms to innovate and grow contributing to the overall sustainability of a business. The Front End of Innovation (FEI) plays a vital role to this end. The FEI represents the initial phase of the innovation process and is pivotal for the success of New Product development and Commercialization and may even contribute to the Business Model Development. The Front End of Innovation Integrative Ontology (FEI2O) is a comprehensive representation of the FEI and it was developed with a Design Science approach with the support of the 101 Ontology Development Methodology. The FEI20 offers a representation of a set of subontologies. The proposal of an agile development of a New Concept combined with the alignment of the Strategic Purpose of the FEI and Organisational Processes is addressed by two subontologies. These subontologies are further instantiated considering a Lean Startup Study Case to verify the feasibility of the artefact.
