Abstract (EN): The main goal of this work was to evaluate the response of the diagonals members of steel lattice towers with circular cross-sections under the wind load determined according to the current regulation EN1991-1-4. For the purpose of this study a program in VBA using Excel was developed to evaluate the response of lattice steel towers to vortex shedding induced vibrations and possible failure due to fatigue. A design example was dealt with some possible detail.
