Abstract (EN):
Structural rehabilitation of concrete structures with externally bonded fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) has become a viable technique for about three decades. External bonding of FRP composite plates and strips to the tensioned side of reinforced concrete (RC) beams has proven their effectiveness in many practical cases. This solution has more recently been applied to RC plates. A detailed analysis of unstrengthened and strengthened RC plate has been initiated and carried out to relieve the efficiency of this technique for reinforced concrete slabs structural rehabilitation.
