Abstract (EN):
Static equilibrium equations of shells are transformed in a system of four differential equations of first order, given under the following matrix form -1d{Y}/lambda ds + [A]{Y} = {b} where the vector {Y} represents the following unknown [M(phi);H;chi;h]. The matrix [A] contains the mechanical and geometrical characteristics of the shell and the second member vector {b} represents the components of the external loading. The mathematical solution of this system is given by the combination of two solutions, the first one is considered as a complementary solution and the second one is a particular solution of the whole system. These are derived using the method of asymptotic expansion taking into consideration the first and second terms of the expansion.
