Abstract (EN):
Abstract: Metal oxide catalysts supported on active carbon were prepared by impregnation of the carbon precursor followed by carbonization and activation. By acting as gasification catalysts during the activation step, the metal oxides bring about important textural modifications in the carbon support. Adsorption studies reveal an extensive mesoporosity, in comparison with the non-impregnated carbon, which is essentially microporous. © 1982 Elsevier Scientific Publishing Company.
