Abstract (EN): During the development of a new parser for the grammar defined in the latest edition of IEC 61131-3, the authors came across many inconsistencies between the main body of the standard and the formal definition of the grammar. This paper explains the inconsistencies that were uncovered, and suggests corrections to the formal grammar.
