Abstract (EN):
This paper focuses on the dynamic analysis of a short span filler-beam railway bridge subject to high speed traffic. For this purpose three-dimensional finite element models of the bridge and TGV-Double train are developed. The numerical model of the bridge is calibrated based on experimental modal parameters, namely natural frequencies and modal configurations. The dynamic analyses of the trainbridge system enables the evaluation of the influence of the interaction effects between independent decks, caused by the continuous ballast layer, in the dynamic response of the bridge. In addition, the influence of track irregularities and the control points in different train vehicles and inside a vehicle, is analysed. The assessment of the train-bridge system dynamic response is performed in terms of structural safety, track stability as well as passenger comfort according to EN1991-2 (2003). © Civil-Comp Press, 2014.
