Abstract (EN): This paper describes a methodology for the stick evaluation regarding its influence on the athlete's performance during a roller hockey (quad) game. Roller Hockey is a popular sport in Portugal and the national team has been 15 times world champion, 20 European champions, in senior male competition, and won three world championships in senior female. In spite of this impressive collection of titles, hockey continues to be the lesser studied sport. The objective of this work is to measure the mechanical properties of the stick (Aleu) to evaluate its influence on the shot power.
