Abstract (EN):
Forced vibrations of cylindrical variable stiffness composite laminated (VSCL) shells are investigated in the geometrically
non-linear regime. The forces applied are harmonic and periodic oscillations are computed, defining frequency response curves. Numerical
tests are carried out applying the harmonic balance in the complex domain and an arc-length continuation method. It is verified that the
variation of the fibre orientation can lead to significant differences in the response.
